Content Creation Cost in Pakistan (2026): Photoshoots, Reels and Monthly Packages

October 14, 2026 · 6 min read · By Shafay, founder of MONOHAUS

Most social media quotes in Pakistan bundle content into the monthly fee and never say what the content itself costs. That makes it hard to compare a PKR 25,000 package with a PKR 80,000 one, because the difference is usually whether anyone is actually shooting your business or just designing posts from stock images.

This guide prices content on its own: product photos, Reels, shoot days and ongoing monthly content for salons, clinics, restaurants and other local businesses.

Product and menu photography

PKR 500 - 1,500 per image. Plain-background product shots from a small studio or freelancer. Fine for an online catalogue where every photo should look the same. Retouching and background removal are often extra, so ask.

PKR 2,000 - 5,000 per image. Styled shots with props, surfaces and lighting set up for each product or dish. This is what food and beauty brands need for menus, ads and the top of their Instagram grid.

Per-image pricing suits product businesses. A salon or clinic rarely needs it, because what sells a service is people, space and results, not isolated objects.

Shoot days

For service businesses, the shoot day is the unit that matters. A crew comes to your location, captures photos and video for several weeks of posting, and edits afterwards.

PKR 15,000 - 25,000. One photographer, two to four hours, around 20 to 40 edited photos. No video, or a few raw clips handed over unedited.

PKR 30,000 - 60,000. Photo and video in one session, a shot list planned in advance, and four to eight edited Reels plus a photo set. This is the band most salons, cafes and clinics should budget for.

PKR 80,000 and above. Multiple crew, models or hired talent, lighting rigs, location permissions, and campaign-level editing. Worth it for a launch or a rebrand, not for routine monthly content.

Travel outside the city, hair and makeup for models, and props are normally billed on top. Get them listed before the day, not on the invoice.

Reels on their own

If you shoot footage yourself on a phone and only need editing, freelance Reel editing typically runs PKR 1,500 to PKR 5,000 per Reel, depending on length, captions and how much the editor has to fix.

Fully produced Reels, where someone plans the hook, films and edits, usually work out to PKR 5,000 to PKR 15,000 each when bought singly. Bought as part of a shoot day they come out cheaper, which is why one well-planned shoot a month beats ordering Reels one at a time.

Paying an influencer to post about you is a separate cost. Small creators with 10,000 to 50,000 followers commonly ask PKR 5,000 to PKR 15,000 per sponsored Reel, and that buys their audience, not footage you own.

Monthly content packages

Ongoing content usually comes bundled with management. Roughly, the content share looks like this:

Under PKR 30,000 a month. Designed posts and captions from your own photos or stock. No shoot. You stay visible, but nothing shows what your business actually looks like.

PKR 40,000 - 90,000 a month. One shoot day a month, 12 to 20 posts including several Reels, captions and a content plan. This is where content starts to bring enquiries rather than just likes.

PKR 100,000 and above. Two or more shoot days, higher Reel volume, and content made for ads as well as organic posts.

What changes the price

Who owns the files. Some photographers keep raw files and charge for extra edits later. Ask whether you receive every edited image and the raw footage.

Usage rights. Content shot for Instagram is sometimes priced differently from content used in paid ads or on billboards. Clarify before running ads with it.

Planning. A shoot without a shot list produces nice photos you cannot use. Planning the posts first, then shooting for them, is the cheapest way to get more usable content from the same day.

Brand consistency. If your colours and type are not settled, every shoot looks different. Sort the brand identity first.

A sensible starting budget

For a single-location salon, clinic or restaurant, one planned shoot day a month at PKR 30,000 to PKR 50,000 covers most of what Instagram and Facebook need. Add editing for a few phone-shot Reels in between and you have a month of real content for well under the cost of a part-time hire.
