How Much Does a Website Cost in Pakistan? (2026 Guide)
July 26, 2026 · 8 min read
Website quotes in Pakistan range from PKR 15,000 to well over PKR 500,000 for what sounds like the same thing. The spread is real, and most of it comes down to three things nobody puts in the quote: how many pages, who writes the content, and what happens after launch.
What each price band actually buys
**PKR 15,000 - 40,000.** A template site, usually WordPress with a purchased theme, three to five pages, your logo dropped in. You write the copy. Works if you need a basic online presence this month and nothing more.
**PKR 40,000 - 90,000.** The band most salons, clinics, cafes and service businesses should be looking at. Five to eight pages, mobile-first, a working contact or booking flow, basic on-page SEO, and someone who arranges your content rather than just pasting it.
**PKR 100,000 - 250,000.** Custom design rather than a theme, copywriting included, proper SEO structure, faster hosting, and integrations like WhatsApp, booking systems, or payments. Appropriate when the website is a primary source of leads rather than a brochure.
**PKR 250,000+.** E-commerce with real product volume, custom functionality, or multi-location businesses. Rarely necessary for a single-location service business.
The recurring costs most quotes omit
The build price is not the yearly price. Budget for these separately:
**Domain:** roughly PKR 3,000 - 6,000 per year for a .com or .pk.
**Hosting:** PKR 8,000 - 30,000 per year depending on quality. Cheap shared hosting is the single most common cause of a slow site, and speed directly affects both rankings and bookings.
**SSL certificate:** usually free through Let's Encrypt. If someone is charging you separately for basic SSL, ask why.
**Maintenance:** updates, backups, and fixes. Either PKR 5,000 - 15,000 a month on a retainer, or your own time.
A PKR 50,000 site with PKR 40,000 of annual running costs is not a PKR 50,000 site. Ask for year-one total before you compare quotes.
What actually drives the price up
**Page count.** Every page is design, content, and testing. Eight pages is not slightly more than four, it is roughly double.
**Who writes the copy.** This is the most underestimated line item. If the quote does not say copywriting is included, you are writing it, and most projects stall for weeks at exactly that point.
**Photography.** Stock images are free and look it. Real photography of your space and work is the single biggest visual difference between a site that converts and one that does not.
**Custom vs template.** A template constrains layout to what the theme allows. Custom costs more and takes longer, and for many local businesses a good template is genuinely the right call.
**Integrations.** Booking systems, payment gateways, and CRM connections each add real work.
How to compare quotes without getting misled
Normalise every proposal against the same six questions: how many pages, is copywriting included, is photography included, who hosts it and at what annual cost, how many revision rounds, and do I own everything at the end.
Most apparent price differences disappear once you answer those. A quote that looks 40% cheaper usually excludes copy, excludes photography, and caps revisions at one.
**Ownership matters most.** You should end with control of the domain, the hosting account, and the site files. Some cheap builds keep the site on the agency's account, which means you cannot leave without rebuilding from scratch.
What we would tell you not to spend on
Custom design when a well-chosen template does the job. An e-commerce build when you sell four services. Animation that slows the site on mobile data. A blog you will not maintain.
Money is better spent on real photography, clear pricing on the page, and a booking flow that takes under thirty seconds.
The honest answer
For most Pakistani service businesses, a genuinely good website costs between PKR 40,000 and PKR 90,000 to build, plus roughly PKR 15,000 to PKR 35,000 a year to run. Below that band you are buying a template and doing the work yourself. Above it you are paying for things a single-location business rarely needs.
We build a homepage mockup before any money changes hands, so you can judge the standard of work rather than the proposal. See website design in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad, or see PKR pricing.
